Don’t expect your archers to shoot at anyone if you don’t select them to target an individual unit yourself. It’s full of bugs, even more so than SH2, especially with troop movement / AI.
Despite this, the game sacrificed gameplay to attain better graphics. The graphics are the best out of a stronghold game, but otherwise mediocre. As someone who has played the original Stronghold and SH2 and enjoyed them both, it’s a broken, unfinished game.
I got the stronghold 3 “gold edition” in 2016ish.
